Living at Jindee – Indoor/Outdoor Living
At Jindee, we prioritise the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to bask in the beauty of the coastal landscape. Our Architectural Standards cater to designs
that optimise natural light and airflow in indoor areas, and outdoor spaces that serve as an extension of your home, creating a more expansive and tranquil atmosphere.
Our wonderful Jindee residents, Pat and Angie invited us for a peek inside their beautiful new coastal abode which boasts clever design elements that seamlessly integrate indoor/outdoor living spaces.
Built by Sadhana Constructions, their spectacular three-bedroom, two-bathroom home effortlessly blends industrial chic with coastal influences.
Creating a seamless transition between your indoor and outdoor spaces can offer many benefits, such as the ability to entertain guests, engage in outdoor activities, and connect more deeply with the natural world. Following this design philosophy, Pat and Angie, installed Bi-fold doors that integrate their central alfresco area with their living and dining spaces, creating one large usable space. Their welcoming outdoor oasis is complete with hand-crafted outdoor furniture and a fire pit.
When it comes to designing an indoor-outdoor living space, it is important to consider the functionality and flow of the space. To create an effortless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces, consider using similar colour schemes, materials, and textures throughout. This can help create a cohesive design and make the space feel more connected.
Careful attention to detail is showcased in the couple’s luxurious kitchen, complete with a stone island benchtop and chic wooden cabinetry that extends to a concealed scullery, conveniently located behind the kitchen for easy cleanup. Ample natural light and ventilation flow through the entire living and dining area, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and double vaulted ceiling.
The Jindee Architectural Standards recognise the value indoor/outdoor areas, particularly verandahs, have always performed in enriching lifestyles and street appeal, which makes the home desirable to many potential buyers.
Wanting a private sanctuary, a separate living room is situated at the front of the home, adorned with double French doors that open to the front verandah and a strategically placed bar cart, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a long day. This design style provides a sense of openness and spaciousness that can make a home feel more inviting and allows Pat and Angie to take advantage of the natural beauty of their surroundings such as their tree-lined street.
The home boasts high ceilings, a staple in our Architectural Standards, that enhance the grandeur and spaciousness of the home. The lavish master bedroom is particularly impressive with its luxurious vaulted ceiling, electric blinds, double ensuite, and spacious walk-in robe, making it the perfect retreat.
Pat and Angie’s new coastal abode is truly a masterpiece of indoor/outdoor design and functionality. The home’s unique blend of industrial chic and coastal influences creates a warm and welcoming environment that perfectly complements its beachside setting.
